“ Andover Diner looks and feels like a classic NJ diner. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is always fresh and delicious. The bonus is the authentic Mexican menu that features some of the best food in the area. I wish I had discovered this gem years ago. ”
“ Happened upon the Andover Diner heading home from a motorcycle ride. Plenty of parking and they sat us right away. Place was clean and the staff friendly. I got the California Panini. The bread on the bottom was a little soggy on one half. The panini could've been pressed a little better but the chicken was juicy and the fries were delicious. The couple I was with ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the lady was convinced by the waiter to try the special Mexican style quesadillas. The guy can usually eat 2-3 burgers but was stuffed after this one 1/2 pounder. The lady said they were the best quesadillas she ever had. There were 3 pieces and she could only finish one. She said the rice that came with it was just ehhh but the rest she enjoyed. Total before tip was just under 61. Not terrible. If I'm in the area again I'm definitely coming back. ”
“ This diner was great. Amazing service. And friendly staff. I came here with my wife for some breakfast and we loved it. We both got omlettes. I got the western and she got a philly cheese. The home fries were so delicious. Seasoned so good and even the toast was great pre buttered. Which I always appreciate. Would love to come back and try some dinner. ”
“ It feels funny to say this but their water is delicious. It's cold and crisp. Our waitress was the only or it seemed like she was alone, but she was hustling. Every table was always being asked how is everything, waters always be filled, she was very attentive for having so many tables alone. I ordered the crispy burger, was very good but greasy. They fry The provolone cheese. Which I've read on the menu but I wasn't thinking like deep fried. Their fries though are absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the Chicken wings with buffalo hot sauce and side fries. He very much enjoyed his dinner as well. Over all we have a great experience and will be back. We were there on Sunday 03/26/23 around 530pm, if the owners read this please let the waitress know she is a great job and being alone never once did she forget any of her tables. I wish I remember her name but hopefully the date and time will help who was working that shift. ”
“ Stopped in for lunch with a couple of friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Friendly staff and our waitress Alonda was the best. All the dishes, from burger to omlette to turkey club were tasty, well prepared. Glad we stopped in and look forward to returning ”
“ Wonderful restaurant, they aim to please. My wife asked to take home 6 empanadas, they only had 2 made so they made 6 on the spot so we had them to take home after our meal. Very good guacamole. All Mexican specialties are made fresh...good mix of American favorites & Mexican food. ”
“ What a beautiful find. We were in the neighborhood and stopped in. Wonderful welcome and service. We had breakfast huge portions. Definitely recommend. ”
“ Hello Foodies! I was out on my adventures in the town of Andover in NJ. We stopped by this small diner after a local gentleman that I met at the antique shop recommended the food. He was correct, the food was actually pretty good for just a diner! I don't expect delicious food from a diner, but at the most edible. However, this place had better than edible. I had the Cuban panini sandwich and the chicken rice soup. Very tasty and enough for me to take the other half home! I definitely recommend trying this place if you're in this part of town. They have a big parking lot. The only thing is we were sat by the entrance door, and it was pretty cold out, so we did feel that cold at our table. My friend couldn't really eat her food she had to put on her coat because she kept shaking, and her hands were freezing. I recommend getting a table closer to the back or away from the entrance if it's a cold day out. I also wanted to order a dessert, the brownie blast, but they said they didn't have it, and that made me sad. I have a terrible sweet tooth people! But everyone really liked their food. They all said they would return to this diner. Our waitress was also very nice and very attentive. ”
